The St. Landry Parish Children and Youth Services Planning Board was established in response to Act 1225 and Act 555 of the 2003 Louisiana Legislative Session. The Louisiana State Legislature mandated, through Act 1225, that every Judicial District to establish a multidisciplinary planning board that would work with the development of programs and services for children and youth within that Judicial District.
